Whenever an individual receives any type of Healing Session with me, regardless of the modality, I always recommend the following After-Care regimen.
Drink a lot of water - at least eight 8 ounce glasses of purified drinking water if possible, unless otherwise directed by your primary care physician. This is an important part of your responsibility following a session we share. Your body will be in a state of detoxification, which means that your system will need to "flush out" all the toxins it has been storing prior to the treatment. Water consumption will facilitate this process for you.
Get as much rest as possible. Again, your body will be in a state of transition and detoxing, rest makes that process go more quickly and is easier on your system.
Avoid as much as stress as possible. (I appreciate how difficult this can be, but,please, do your best to reduce the amount of stress you're exposed to for at least 24 hours following a session.)
Get some fresh air (weather and time permitting) unless you have a diagnosed illness which stipulates you avoid being outside or your primary care physician has contra-indicated this action. Nothing heals the soul like fresh air and time in nature!
Reduce (or eliminate if at all possible) your caffeine and nicotine intake for a period of 24 hours prior to and following a session unless otherwise prescribed by your primary physician. Again, this is largely due to the fact that your body will be in a state of transition and detoxification. Both nicotine and caffeine can be irritants to the system.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours prior to and after treatments, please.
